Caroline Kicklighter, PharmD, MBA, BCPS serves as National Account Director, Population Health at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation. In this role, she brings her extensive managed care payer experience to improve cardiovascular health and address health disparities. Her interests focus on population health which addresses improving health status and health outcomes among groups of individuals. Employing population health can reduce racial inequities and improve large discrepancies seen in health outcomes that exist in the US.
Prior to joining Novartis, Caroline served as a Medical Outcomes’ Specialist at Pfizer, Inc. to improve patient access to medications and to improve clinical outcomes and measures. She has served as the Clinical Pharmacy Director for Kaiser Permanente in the Colorado region and the Mid-Atlantic States region in addition to clinical practice settings including cardiovascular health, heart failure and adult internal medicine.
Caroline graduated from the University of Georgia with her BS Pharmacy and PharmD degrees. She received her MBA from the George Washington University. She completed her residences with the Department of Veterans Affairs and Kaiser Permanente. She is board certified in pharmacotherapy. Caroline resides in Denver, Colorado.
