Matt Close

Matt Close, Executive Director of the Ohio Medical Cannabis Industry Association (OMCIA) has a long history working in the public sector.

Matt spent almost a decade working for the Ohio Department of Commerce where he served as Legislative Director, Chief of Staff, and Assistant Director.

Prior to that, Matt served as Legislative Director to the Auditor of State and as Senior Legislative Aide to the House Ways and Means Chairman.

Matt has a strong policy, political, and regulatory background. Matt is a graduate of the Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business.
